The job 
In Envases, a Global Packaging company with European headquarters in Denmark and 13 manufacturing sites across Europe, we are looking for an IT Operations Manager. You will lead the support and Operations team, currently a team of 5 employees. You will refer to the IT Director Europe and be based in Odense C together with other IT colleagues.

To succeed in the role, you enjoy taking full responsibility and working with the business to achieve common goals, while always seeking to challenge, optimize and improve processes.

As IT Operations Manager in Envases your responsibility will be as follows:
  • Managing the IT Operations and Service Desk team, including, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating team and individual’s performance.
  • Ensure daily coordination and prioritization of IT resources and tasks and follow up.
  • Responsible for implementation and management of IT strategies, including Security - Corporate and local
  • Execution of IT Projects in collaboration with the company's various departments
  • Optimization and automation of workflows (i.e. On- & off-boarding of users).
  • Managing IT suppliers, contracts, budgets & licenses.
  • Ensure monitoring and response on core systems (i.e. servers, network, cyber security)
  • Managing incidents and handling service requests as well as escalation policies and procedures.
  • Developing and communicating tactical and strategic solutions to operational issues and procedures.
  • Continuous improvement of IT and helpdesk processes.
  • Analyzing incident trends and anticipating potential problems for proactive resolution.
  • Managing the lifecycle of new and existing service management processes.
  • Creating documentation: guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other procedures.
  • Participating in maintaining inventory of hardware, software and support assets.
Your profile 
  • We expect you to have a relevant education and experience within IT Infrastructure
  • Strong experience in service desk / IT support, including experience in a leading position
  • Experience with software license agreement terms

  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL principles
  • Fluency in both English and Danish
  • Strong communication and managerial skills

We expect you to have an analytical and proactive approach to tasks and projects, and a great sense of urgency in terms of business needs. As you will have a broad range of stakeholders inside and outside of the organization and at all levels internally, we expect you to have excellent collaboration and communication skills.
