Then join the Responsible Sourcing Operation team in Billund, and play a key role in ensuring, that anyone involved in producing LEGO® products has fair and decent working conditions, as well as safeguarding children and minimizing environmental impacts. 


Core Responsibilities 
  • Under the guidance of the Senior Manager of the Responsible Sourcing Operation team (RSO) and in close collaboration with RSO licensing lead, support the implementation of the LEGO Group Responsible Business principles (RBP) in the licensing division 
  • In collaboration with the licensing team, support partners’ selection and negotiate responsible sourcing requirements in contracts 
  • Enhance the Responsible Sourcing program management for licensing partners including ensuring compliance with requirements from licensors such as The Walt Disney Company 
  • Ongoing compliance work in the Responsible Sourcing Operation team including: engaging with licensing partners on RBP implementation; continuing updating our social compliance program for licensing management; screening and onboarding of new licensing partners; assessing social audits and reviewing remediation for non-compliances; encouraging continuous improvement; supporting capability building activities and data management. 
  • Provide day-to-day support and technical guidance to colleagues in Licensing department as well as Quality in Merchandise and Marketing and have interaction with the Environmental Responsibility team.

The Responsible Sourcing Operation team aims to ensure that the LEGO Group’s ethical, social and environmental requirements are met by suppliers, licensing partners, and the LEGO Group own production sites 

These requirements are set out in the LEGO Group Responsible Business Principles (RBP) that direct and indirect suppliers and licensing partners must adhere to.

You will be strongly collaborative and feel energized by working together with stakeholders to leverage your joint knowledge before co-creating the best solutions 

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in managing social compliance within retail or supply chains, for an international/global brand/licensor, is preferred
  • Our licensing Partners make a wide range of products, across garments, homeware, and publishing so we are looking for someone with experience across a range of products, with a preference for experience managing licensing programs 
  • You have strong experience in supplier selection and contract negotiation preferably within the above industries and potentially within the electronic, or packaging industry 
  • You'll be experienced (and enjoying!) reading and analyzing social audits, with expertise across a range of audit types (SMETA, ICTI/IETP, SA8000, BSCI, etc.) 
  • You will be confident in mapping and assessing social compliance risk and presenting this to key stakeholders  
  • You will be confident in analyzing, presenting, and reporting data and be a confident user of MS Excel and Sharepoint, Power BI, and eventually digital compliance systems 
  • You possess solid knowledge and deep interest in international human and labor rights, environmental impact, and CSR standards 
  • You are experienced in working within global teams, understanding and mastering cultural diversity and the distance management 
  • You will be flexible to travel regularly within Europe (UK, DK) with some long-haul trips possible (eg Asia 1-2 times per year) 

It would be an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have knowledge or experience of The Walt Disney Company ILS program.
